A Little About Me

My name is Nicole and I’m currently pursuing my dream job. I attend the University of Florida and absolutely love it! I’m majoring in Landscape Architecture and am deep within the fourth year (out of five) within the program. Along with LA, I’m also one class away from completing my minor in Environmental Studies. Studying landscape architecture has allowed me to travel and meet so many great people. I recently spent 4 months living in Paris and traveling all over Europe. Traveling is a huge part of my life and I jump at any opportunity to learn about another culture. I’ve lived in South Florida for my entire life and I love it. The beaches are beautiful, the weather is always warm, and the thunderstorms in the summer are so relaxing to sleep to at night.
Music is another passion of mine. I learned to play the piano in third grade and eventually moved onto percussion in middle school. Music took over my life all throughout middle school, high school, and even into college. I spent two years studying percussion performance at Florida State University and enjoyed every second of it. After my sophomore year at FSU, I decided that I wanted to keep music as a hobby and transferred to UF to pursue landscape architecture.
The purpose of this blog is to document my journey through the last few years of college. I use it to post photos and experiences from my traveling, projects from school, and each step I take to landing a great internship/job after graduation. Enjoy! Ciao! Au Revoir! Adios! Arrivederci!
